Days 1–4
Into the desert
Arrive in Windhoek, settle the transport plan and travel towards the Sossusvlei area. Give the dunes a full day rather than squeezing them into a drive.

Days 5–7
Atlantic air
Continue to Swakopmund, keeping the road day manageable. Choose a locally guided coast or desert outing and a slower day in town.

Days 8–12
The Etosha chapter
Make the journey north with an overnight stop if needed. Spend time exploring Etosha, then allow a realistic return journey before departure.
